Isocitrate to alpha-Ketoglutarate

Enzyme: Isocitrate dehydrogenase

Reaction: Oxidative decarboxylation
Dehydrogenation of isocitrate occurs and yields oxalosuccinate as an intermediate.Then CO2 leaves to have alpha-ketoglutarate.This reaction gives NADH.
